Does cancer cause hair thinning?

I've noticed my hair thinning quite a bit recently, and it's making me wonder if it could be a sign of something more serious. Can certain types of cancer lead to hair thinning as a symptom?

Actually, it is the stress or nutritional drop that might cause minor thinning, yaar. Proper bald patches or major hair loss only happen once chemotherapy begins. Relax and don't take too much load.

At my age, my hair is thinning just looking at my monthly bills! But seriously, cancer itself doesn't directly eat your hair; that job is done by the heavy treatment medicines later on. So don't blame the disease for normal hair fall.

I just completed my treatment last month. My hair was perfectly thick until my second chemotherapy session, which is when the thinning and shedding started. Before treatment, the cancer itself did absolutely nothing to my hair.

Hey, please don't stress too much! Hair thinning can happen due to simple things like weather change, hard water, or lack of sleep. Unless someone is undergoing chemotherapy, cancer isn't going to make your hair thin out suddenly.

Haan na, basic hair fall is so common due to pollution these days. The real thinning and falling from cancer only starts with chemo therapy, not before that. Normal tension mat lo please.
