Does breyna cause weight gain?

My wife recently started taking a new medication called Breyna for her asthma. She's concerned about gaining weight, as she's struggled with it in the past. Does Breyna cause weight gain?

Breyna is an inhaler used for asthma, and since it contains budesonide (a steroid), some people worry about systemic side effects. Usually, the amount absorbed in the body is very small, so it shouldn't cause weight gain. Just keep an eye on your overall diet and sugar levels to be safe.

Don't worry too much. Inhaled steroids like Breyna act directly on the lungs, so they don't cause the bloating or weight gain that oral steroid tablets do. Just rinse your mouth after every use and keep your routine active.

Keep your mind positive and do not let fear of side effects affect your healing. Breyna is meant to help you breathe easier, and weight changes are very rare with inhalers. Take care of your breathing and let nature do the rest.

I totally understand why you are anxious, I search every single medicine online for side effects too! But honestly, Breyna didn't cause any weight gain for me. The dose is too tiny to affect your weight, so you can breathe easy.

Listen, don't stress too much about this! Inhalers like Breyna are local, they don't mess with your metabolism like heavy pills do. You won't gain weight from it, so just use it as your doctor prescribed.

Inhalers rarely cause weight gain because the medicine goes straight to your lungs. Try doing some gentle pranayama along with your medication to boost lung health naturally. If you feel any sudden bloating, consult your doctor.

Unless you are eating the inhaler, it won't make you gain weight! Jokes aside, inhaled medications don't cause weight issues. Just blame the extra samosas for any weight gain, not Breyna.

I asked my pulmonologist at Fortis about this exact side effect. He clearly told me that inhaled steroids do not cause systemic weight gain because the dosage is in micrograms. If you still have doubts, please ask your doctor.

I've been using Breyna for my asthma for six months now. Didn't gain even a gram because of it. It's totally safe on that front, don't worry.

Agree with others, it doesn't cause weight gain. Just remember to rinse your mouth after using it to avoid thrush.

Hey, I use this too before gymming. No weight gain at all, bro. It just helps you breathe better during workouts.

It is a standard inhaler, no need to worry about weight gain. Keep your daily walks going and eat normal home food, you will stay perfectly fit.

I was researching Breyna's ingredients (budesonide/formoterol) and medical sites state that weight gain is not a typical side effect. It is mostly oral steroid pills that cause that issue.

I totally get it, nobody wants to deal with weight issues while trying to manage a breathing condition. But rest assured, Breyna is an inhaled medication and won't cause weight gain. It is designed to work locally in your airways.

Realistic advice: inhaled drugs have minimal systemic side effects. Breyna will not cause weight gain. Just stick to your routine and use it regularly to avoid asthma attacks.
