Does breast tenderness in pregnancy come and go?

I'm early in my pregnancy journey, and my breasts are quite tender, but the feeling isn't always there. It comes and goes throughout the day. Is this fluctuation normal for breast tenderness in pregnancy?

It can fluctuate, but please don't just assume everything is normal like I did with my health issues in the past. If you suddenly lose all pregnancy symptoms overnight or have severe pain on one side, it is always better to get a quick checkup with your gynac. Safe is always better than sorry.

Ha behan, bilkul hota hai aisa. Kabhi ek din bohot dard hota hai aur agle din bilkul theek lagta hai. Chinta mat karo, bhagwan sab theek rakhenge, bas accha khana khao aur aaram karo.

I am also in my 8th week and experiencing this, sometimes it feels totally fine for two days and then starts again. Is it normal to have it more on just one side sometimes, or should I be worried?

I just delivered last month and yes, this exact thing happened to me! Some weeks I thought it was completely gone, and then suddenly it would feel very sore again. It is just your hormones fluctuating throughout the trimesters.

My wife tracked her symptoms on an app and we noticed the tenderness fluctuated quite a bit depending on her weekly hormone spikes. It is totally normal for it to come and go, but logging it can help you see if there is a pattern to discuss with your doctor.

Yes, it is very normal for the pain to change from day to day. Please try to rest as much as possible and don't worry too much about it.

Yes, fluctuating tenderness is very common as your body adapts to rising hormone levels. It doesn't mean your pregnancy is weak or having issues if the pain suddenly stops. Keep sharing your symptoms here, but keep your regular doctor visits too.

I was actually reading up on this because my sister is expecting and was worried about the same thing. Looks like hormone levels drop and rise constantly, so the pain definitely comes and goes in waves.
