Does botox help hair loss?

I saw an article online suggesting that Botox might be used to treat hair loss. My hair is thinning, so I'm always looking for new treatments. Is it true that Botox helps hair loss, or is this misinformation?

Listen, hair botox is just a fancy deep-conditioning treatment they do in salons to make your hair look shiny. It does not go into your scalp roots and won't stop actual hair fall. Don't get confused by the name.

These salons charge 5,000 to 8,000 rupees for one session of 'hair botox'. Instead of spending so much on temporary cosmetic shine, spend 1,500 rupees on a blood test for Vitamin D3 and B12. Usually, correcting deficiencies stops hair fall permanently.

I totally get it, losing hair can really damage your self-confidence and make you want to try any new trend. But please know that 'hair botox' is just for frizz control. It won't help grow new hair, so don't waste your hope or money on it.

Hair health comes from within, not from expensive chemical treatments. 'Hair botox' is just a protein coating for dry hair. Eat daily handful of walnuts, flaxseeds, and curry leaves to naturally strengthen your hair roots.

Hair botox is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect hair growth. I find that regular head massages and a good 30-minute cardio session daily improves blood circulation to the scalp. Try to stay active and reduce stress instead.

Yes, I agree with the others. Hair botox is only a external conditioning treatment and has nothing to do with stopping medical hair loss.

Oh, I actually thought they inject botox into the scalp to stop hair fall. Is that a different treatment or is it the same salon one? I am a bit confused.

Do not confuse 'hair botox' with clinical injections. If you have alopecia, you might need doctor-prescribed minoxidil or PRP therapy. Salon treatments only coat the hair shaft and do not treat the scalp medical condition.

Bro, hair botox is literally just a heavy hair mask under a steam machine. It makes your hair smooth for like 2 months but won't stop genetic balding. Save your pocket money.

These modern chemical treatments only damage the hair in the long run. In our times, pure bhringraj oil and hibiscus paste were used to keep hair strong. Trust natural remedies and keep your scalp clean.
