Does blow drying hair cause hair loss?

I love styling my hair, and blow drying is a big part of my routine. My mom keeps telling me it will make my hair fall out. Is there a direct link between blow drying and hair loss?

If blow drying caused actual baldness, half the world would be hairless by now! It just burns the strands and makes them snap. Just use the cold air setting and sleep some more instead of worrying.

Using hot machines on wet hair is not good. Applying a little warm coconut oil and drying hair naturally in the sun or under a fan is the best way to keep your hair strong and thick.

I used to blow-dry daily to style my hair, and it became super dry and started snapping. Once I stopped using high heat, the hair fall stopped. It's just heat damage, not actual root hair loss.

I panicked so much when I saw hair falling out during blow-drying. But my doctor reassured me that it was only temporary heat breakage. Once I started using a heat protectant spray, it went back to normal.

Do not let this worry you. The hair is just reacting to the harsh heat. Be gentle with your body, let your hair dry naturally, and maintain a calm mind. Everything will be fine.
