Does birth control help pcos lose weight?

My doctor recently diagnosed me with PCOS, and I'm really struggling to lose weight because of it. Someone mentioned that birth control might help manage PCOS symptoms and even aid in weight loss. Is this true?

Beta, these modern pills only regulate your periods artificially, they do not cure the weight issue. In our days, we relied on methi seeds water in the morning and reducing heavy sweets. Take care of your diet and don't depend entirely on strong medicines.

I spent years on birth control thinking it would fix my PCOS weight, but it only managed my cycle. The real weight loss happened when I started strength training and cut down on simple carbs. The pill is just a support tool, you still have to do the lifestyle work.

PCOS is basically a lifestyle imbalance that needs patient care. Birth control pills can manage symptoms, but daily pranayama like Kapalbhati and a mindful sattvik diet are what truly help in reducing weight and restoring harmony to the body.

Birth control doesn't directly burn fat, but it can stabilize your hormones. I recommend using an app to track your daily calorie intake and insulin responses. Combined with the pill, keeping a close eye on your macros is the most efficient way to tackle PCOS weight.
