Does berberine cause hair loss?

Recently started taking berberine for blood sugar management, and since then, I've noticed a bit more hair fall than usual. Could berberine be a cause of hair loss?

I once ignored severe hair fall and fatigue thinking it was just a side effect of a new supplement I started. It turned out to be a major nutritional deficiency and hormonal imbalance that took months to fix. Please get a proper doctor's checkup instead of guessing.

Haan na, hair loss is so scary! Actually, berberine is not directly known to cause hair loss, but if it causes stomach upset or nutritional issues, hair might thin. Doctor se baat karna hamesha achha hota hai.

My doctor at the clinic mentioned that berberine affects blood sugar and gut bacteria, but hair loss is not a standard side effect. If you are noticing hair fall, ask your dermatologist or physician clearly to find the real root cause.

Bro, I've been on berberine for my gut issues for three months now and my hair is totally fine. No extra shedding or anything. It might just be stress or seasonal change in your case, but check with a doc if it's too much.

I am already losing hair just looking at my monthly bills, so I don't need berberine for that! But jokes apart, if a herbal pill starts taking away your hair, throw it out and consult a doctor immediately.

Our hair often reflects our inner peace and stress levels. While trying new supplements like berberine, keep your mind positive and do not stress about hair fall, as anxiety only makes it worse. Take care of your spirit and eat well.
