Does aussie cause hair loss?

I recently switched to a new shampoo, Aussie, after seeing many ads. But for the past few weeks, I'm noticing a lot more hair fall than usual when I comb my hair. Could this shampoo be causing it?

Honestly, don't ignore it if you're seeing more hair fall. I once ignored my hair thinning thinking it was just a new shampoo, but it turned out to be an internal deficiency. Please get your scalp and blood levels checked by a proper dermatologist before blaming just the product.

If Aussie was causing that much hair fall, half of the internet would be bald by now! Joking aside, sometimes our water quality or work stress plays a bigger role than the shampoo bottle itself. Switch back to your old trusty shampoo and give your head a peaceful break.

I was actually planning to buy this shampoo online today because of the good reviews. Is it really causing hair fall for many people here? Please let me know if I should avoid it or if it only happens to certain hair types.

Hey, don't stress too much about it! Sometimes a new shampoo just doesn't suit your hair type, but it doesn't mean it's permanently damaging your roots. Just stop using it for a couple of weeks and see if the shedding stops, simple as that.

I actually used the Aussie Miracle Moist for a few months and noticed some extra shedding. It might be due to the heavy silicones in it buildup on the scalp. Try using a clarifying shampoo once and see if that resolves the issue.

Whenever I face severe hair shedding, I directly consult a trichologist at a proper hospital instead of guessing. Shampoos are mostly surface cleansers, so if your hair is falling from the roots, a doctor can diagnose the actual issue through simple tests.
