Does alcohol raise liver enzymes?

After my annual health check-up, my doctor mentioned my liver enzyme levels were a bit high. He asked about my drinking habits, so I'm trying to figure out how directly alcohol impacts these levels and if it causes them to rise.

Yes, even occasional drinking can stress the liver and raise those SGOT/SGPT levels. I always drink a cup of lukewarm water with lemon in the morning to keep my liver clean. But if your reports are very high, you must consult a doctor.

Yes, alcohol definitely raises enzymes because the liver has to produce extra compounds to break it down. I focus on a diet rich in green leafy vegetables and turmeric to support my liver naturally. Avoiding alcohol is the first step to healing.

My doctor looked at my LFT report and asked if I was partying every night! Yes, alcohol throws those enzyme numbers way out of bounds. Give your poor liver a break for a few weeks, and those numbers will likely behave themselves again.

Don't fall for detox tea advertisements to lower liver enzymes, they don't work. Elevated enzymes mean your liver cells are leaking due to stress, often caused by alcohol. Go to a proper physician and get an LFT done instead of experimenting.

I tried various home juices to bring down my husband's high liver enzymes, but nothing worked until he completely cut out his evening drinks. Home remedies only help when you stop the root cause, which is alcohol. Do get a fresh LFT test done.

Bro, my SGPT was touching 90 after a month of heavy weekend partying. My doc literally told me to stop alcohol completely for a month. Did that, drank lots of water, and the levels came back to normal in my next test.

Haan yaar, daru peene se liver ke enzymes turant upar chale jaate hain. Maine khud dekha hai ki thode din parhez rakhne se numbers normal ho jaate hain. Aap thode din completely door raho daru se, thik hai na?
