Does alcohol disrupt sleep?

Lately, I've noticed my sleep quality isn't great, especially after having a few drinks in the evening. I heard somewhere that alcohol can actually disrupt your sleep cycle instead of helping it. Is that true?

Yes, it really does affect your rest even if you fall asleep quickly. I used to think a small drink helps, but I always woke up tired. Just try avoiding it close to bedtime and see the difference.

Haha, dont even ask! I thought beer would cure my insomnia, but I ended up staring at the ceiling at 3 AM with a racing heart. It is a total trap, you feel sleepy first and then boom, you are wide awake.

Bilkul disturb hoti hai sleep isse. If you want a good night's rest, keep a gap of at least 3 to 4 hours between your last drink and sleep. Drinking a glass of warm water before bed also helps clear it out.

I noticed this when monitoring my BP. Drinking alcohol not only disrupted my sleep but also caused slight spikes in my morning blood pressure. If you are facing sleep issues often, please check your BP and consult your doctor once.

Oh, totally! Alcohol promises you sweet dreams but leaves you waking up looking like a zombie. If you love your morning sanity, keep the drinks for occasional weekends only!

Our body needs natural calm to enter deep sleep. Alcohol disturbs the subtle flow of breath and makes the body work harder to detoxify during the night. Try five minutes of deep breathing before sleeping instead, it works beautifully.

Haan yaar, bilkul impact karta hai. Shuru me lagta hai badhiya neend aayegi, par raat ko 2 baje pyaas lagti hai aur neend khul jaati hai na. It completely ruins the sleep cycle, honestly.
