Does alcohol abuse cause kidney failure?

A friend of mine is going through a very tough time and has been drinking heavily for months. His health is deteriorating, and we are really concerned about his kidneys. Can long-term alcohol abuse really cause kidney failure?

Haan babu, jyada sharab peene se sharir ke andar ke ang dheere dheere kamzor ho jate hain. Liver ke sath sath kidney par bhi iska bohot bura asar padta hai. Agar koi pareshani lag rahi hai toh turant doctor sahab ko dikhao, de r mat karo.

Haan na, heavy drinking directly filters through kidneys and damages them over time. Also, alcohol increases blood pressure, which is actually one of the main reasons for kidney failure. It is better to stop completely and get a proper kidney function test done.

Excessive consumption of alcohol destroys the natural balance of our body's water and toxins. Kidneys have to work double to clear the poison, which eventually exhausts them. Along with medical treatment, practicing clean living and daily deep breathing can help restore your body's vital energy.

I have to get my kidney and thyroid functions checked every six months because endocrine issues can impact filtration. Alcohol abuse puts a massive strain on your filtration system, often leading to chronic damage. Please make regular blood and urine tests a priority to catch any issues early.

Heavy alcohol intake dehydrates the body and harms kidney cells over time. The most practical solution is to cut down alcohol completely and start drinking plenty of plain water instead of sweet juices. Go to a government dispensary or local clinic and get a basic urine test done to check your kidney health.
