Does adderall make your hair fall out?

My hair has been thinning a bit lately, and I just started taking Adderall for my studies. Could the medicine be making my hair fall out more quickly? I'm already quite self-conscious about it.

Honestly, when I'm on these meds, I totally forget to eat my favorite foods! That lack of proper nutrition and skipping meals is probably what makes the hair weak and fall out.

I actually had severe hair thinning when I started my treatment, and it turned out to be a systemic reaction. Please don't ignore it or wait; go see your doctor to check your thyroid and iron levels immediately.

It can trigger telogen effluvium mainly because of the physical stress and appetite loss it causes. Make sure you are hitting your daily protein targets and taking your multivitamins, but do talk to your doc about it.

While hair loss isn't the most common side effect listed, the physiological stress and changes in dietary patterns can trigger shedding. Your prescribing physician is the best person to evaluate if you need a dosage adjustment or a supplement.

Please don't listen to random people online telling you to put onion juice or take random biotin pills for this. If you are taking a prescription stimulant, only your doctor can tell you if it's causing the hair fall or if it's something else.

Hair fall can happen due to the stress this medicine puts on your body. Try applying simple coconut oil with curry leaves and make sure you sleep on time instead of buying expensive chemical serums.

Yes, it definitely can cause hair thinning because of the high stress hormones and lack of sleep. Get your blood work done and show it to your doctor instead of guessing.
