Does a stroke show up on a ct scan?

My father had some stroke-like symptoms, and the doctor ordered a CT scan. I'm wondering if a CT scan is always sufficient to detect a stroke. Will a stroke definitely show up on a CT scan?

While waiting for my relative's scan results, I was literally chewing my nails off outside the lab. Yes, it does show up, especially bleeding strokes, but sometimes early ischemic ones take a bit of time to appear clearly. Keep some hot tea ready, the waiting is the hardest part.

Haan na, it definitely shows up, but my doctor friend told me that sometimes immediate CT scans might miss very fresh clots. They might do an MRI later for a clearer picture, ho na? It's always best to let the specialists decide.

My uncle had stroke symptoms but his first CT scan came back normal, which made me so anxious. Has anyone else faced this? The doctor explained later that some strokes only show up clearly after 24 hours, which is quite scary.

In our family, we always rush to the hospital immediately during emergencies. The CT scan is the first thing they do to rule out bleeding in the brain. Even if elders suggest waiting, trusting the doctor's immediate scan is the safest path.

I read so much about this online when my dad felt dizzy. I got so worried that a normal CT scan might miss something. But the doctors know exactly when to do a contrast scan or an MRI, so we have to try not to overthink and trust them.

Don't worry too much, the CT scan is a standard and very fast procedure. It tells the doctors exactly what kind of stroke it is within minutes so they can protect the patient. Just stay strong, they are in safe hands.

I had a stroke last year and they did a CT scan within 30 minutes of me reaching the ER. It showed the ischemic changes clearly, which helped them administer the clot-busting drug on time. Speed is everything.

In our days, we didn't have these big machines, but today technology is a blessing. If there is any suspicion of a stroke, do not try any home remedy or wait. Get the scan done immediately as the doctors advise.

A CT scan is highly effective at diagnosing hemorrhagic stroke immediately, which is crucial for treatment decisions. For certain ischemic strokes, an MRI is more sensitive. Rely on your neurologist's diagnostic strategy in these situations.

Haan beta, machine mein sab dikh jata hai. If there is a blockage or bleeding in the head, the CT scan will help the doctors find it quickly so they can start the right treatment without any delay. Trust the doctors.

A CT scan is the standard emergency tool to identify a stroke. For hemorrhagic strokes, it shows up instantly as white patches. If it's ischemic, it might take a few hours to register clearly, so don't be surprised if they order an MRI next.

Yes, that giant donut machine does a pretty good job of spotting what's happening inside our skull! It helps doctors figure out if it's a bleed or a clot so they don't have to play guessing games with your brain.
