Does 2 meals a day work for weight loss?

I've been trying different methods to lose weight and someone suggested eating only two meals a day. They said it helps with weight loss. Does this approach actually work or is it just another fad diet?

It definitely works because you cut down on eating windows, but oh my god, those hours between the meals are a test of patience! I do a big lunch and a proper dinner, but skipping breakfast means I am constantly dreaming of samosas by noon. If you can handle the cravings, go for it!

Eating two meals a day, often called intermittent fasting, works purely on a calorie deficit. If your total daily calorie intake is lower than what you burn, you will lose weight. However, it might not suit everyone, especially people with gastric issues, so consulting a nutritionist is always recommended.

I used to panic thinking skipping breakfast would ruin my metabolism and make me faint. But once I adjusted to a two-meal schedule, my body adapted completely. I lost 4 kgs in two months and feel much lighter now, so don't worry, it's very manageable!

Bro, it totally works, but don't stress too much about strict rules. If you skip breakfast and eat two heavy, oily meals later, it won't help at all. Just keep the meals simple, home-cooked, and try to avoid midnight snacking!

Medical research shows that limiting eating frequency can improve insulin sensitivity and promote fat loss. My general physician advised that as long as you meet your daily protein and micronutrient requirements within those two meals, it is a perfectly safe and sustainable method for weight management.

In Ayurveda, eating twice a day is actually considered highly beneficial for digestion as it gives the gut ample time to rest and heal. I have been following this lifestyle along with daily pranayama, and my energy levels and weight have both improved beautifully. Just ensure those two meals are satvik and nutritious.
