Do you run a fever with food poisoning?

I think I might have gotten food poisoning from something I ate yesterday; I've had severe stomach cramps and vomiting. I'm not running a fever yet, though. Is a fever a definite symptom that accompanies food poisoning?

Yes, a fever is the body's natural fire trying to burn away the impurities from bad food. Do not worry, keep your mind peaceful and drink plenty of warm water or electoral. Please visit a doctor if the fever or weakness is too high.

I always panic so much when I get a fever with stomach upset, thinking it is some major infection. Yes, food poisoning can absolutely cause a fever as your body fights the bacteria. Please monitor your hydration and consult a doctor if you can't keep liquids down.

It is completely normal to feel highly anxious when you are vomiting and suddenly see your body temperature rising. Don't worry, a mild fever is a very common reaction to food poisoning. Just stay hydrated with ORS and check in with a doctor to feel safe.

Haan, bilkul fever ho sakta hai agar food poisoning severe ho toh. Body toxins se fight karti hai na, toh temperature badh jata hai. Thoda ORS pani piyo aur turant doctor ko dikhao agar vomiting zyada ho rahi hai toh.
