Do you have to take pregnancy test in the morning?

My periods are a bit late this month, and I'm feeling a little off. My friend told me that if I take a pregnancy test, it has to be first thing in the morning to be accurate. Is that really true, ya any time is fine?

Testing in the morning is highly recommended because your first urine has the highest concentration of the hCG hormone. If you test later in the day, especially after drinking a lot of water, the result might show a false negative. For the most accurate guidance, consulting your gynecologist is always best.

Hey, take a deep breath. Yes, it's best to do the test first thing in the morning when you wake up because the hormone levels are most concentrated then. Don't rush into it tonight; just wait till tomorrow morning to get a clear and reliable result. We are here for you.

Yes, taking it in the morning is the standard advice because drinking water or eating breakfast during the day dilutes the urine. To keep your body healthy during this stressful waiting period, make sure you eat light, home-cooked meals and avoid too much caffeine.

Don't stress too much, dear! It's definitely better to do it first thing in the morning because the urine is concentrated. If your period is already quite late, you can technically test at any time of the day, but morning is still the safest bet. Go grab a kit and do it tomorrow morning peacefully!

When I was unsure, I went to a reputed hospital in Mumbai and my gynecologist explained that morning urine gives the most accurate results early in pregnancy. If you are confused by home kit results, please book an appointment with your doctor and get a beta-hCG blood test done for 100% clarity.

Yes, morning is best, but please be careful. If you get a faint line or are experiencing any sharp pelvic pain or spotting, don't wait to test again. I had some complications early on and learned that seeing a doctor immediately is the safest thing you can do for your health.
