Do waist trainers work for weight loss?

All my friends are talking about waist trainers and how they make you look thinner. I'm interested in trying one if it helps long-term, do waist trainers work for weight loss, or is it just temporary?

Do not waste your money on these tight belts, child. I have seen many young girls in our family try these and get stomach aches. Real weight loss happens when you eat mindful portions and keep yourself active daily.

Listen, don't fall for these social media trends. Waist trainers look fancy in videos, but they can hurt your internal organs if worn too tight. Focus on a balanced diet and some simple home exercises; your body will thank you for being gentle with it.

Please be very careful with these. I used one for two weeks and ended up with severe acid reflux and breathing issues that required a doctor's visit. If you want to lose weight safely, consult a qualified dietitian or a medical professional first.

These internet fitness trends are mostly marketing scams to sell cheap products. There is zero scientific proof that compressing your waist burns fat. Check with a real sports doctor or nutritionist, they will tell you the exact same thing.

Haha, they definitely make you sweat a lot, but that is just water! 😅 Once you hydrate, the weight comes right back. Better to enjoy some fun dance workouts or cycling instead of suffocating in a tight corset!

If squeezing our bellies made us thin, none of us would be struggling, na! Honestly, these waist trainers just make it hard to breathe and eat lunch comfortably. Save your money and just buy a larger size of clothing instead, much more peaceful!
