Do vibration plates really work for weight loss?

My neighbour was telling me about these vibration plates for losing weight, saying they are super effective. I've been trying to shed a few kilos after my second baby, but proper exercise is tough with two small kids. Are these really helpful or just a gimmick?

They don't really burn significant calories on their own. If your doctor permits, try adding a daily 40-minute brisk walk and basic strength training; that is the most reliable way to achieve sustainable weight loss.

I used one of these plates for two months thinking it would tone my legs. Absolutely zero weight loss happened. It was only when I cleaned up my diet and started jogging that the weight actually started dropping.

These gadgets are not a replacement for a healthy lifestyle. Since I have high BP, I focus on salt reduction and active walking instead of relying on vibrating machines, which can sometimes make you feel lightheaded.

I almost bought one after seeing an influencer's video, but my gym trainer stopped me. She said they are okay for improving core balance but won't burn fat. Save your money for a good gym membership instead.

I had a vibration plate at home for a year. In my experience, it was nice for relaxing my calves after a long run, but it did absolutely nothing for my stomach fat or overall weight.
