Do tums help pregnancy nausea?

I'm in my first trimester and the morning sickness is really getting to me. A friend recommended trying Tums for the nausea. Do Tums actually help with pregnancy-related nausea, or are they just for heartburn?

During my second trimester, I had terrible heartburn that made my morning sickness even worse. Taking these chewable calcium tablets helped calm my acid reflux, which indirectly made me feel a bit less nauseous. But that was just my personal experience.

In our days, we relied on a small piece of ginger or sniffing a fresh lemon to calm pregnancy sickness. These tablets might help if your nausea is caused by heavy acidity, but during pregnancy, you must be very careful. Ask your elders and consult your doctor before taking anything.

They are mostly just calcium carbonate, so they help with acid burning but not directly with hormonal nausea. I found that eating small, dry vegetarian meals like plain toast or parched rice (kurmura) first thing in the morning helped me way more than any tablets.

Ah, the lovely morning sickness that actually lasts all day! Honestly, they might help if your stomach is burning, but otherwise, they just taste like sweet chalk. Better to check with your doc for something that actually works so you can eat in peace!

When my wife was expecting, the doctors at Fortis strictly told us not to take any self-medication, even basic antacids, without checking first. Pregnancy is a very sensitive time. Please consult your gynecologist to get a safe, effective solution for your nausea.

My wife had crazy morning sickness last year. These tablets only helped her when she had bad acid reflux, but for actual nausea, her doctor had to prescribe specific safe medicines. Don't just rely on over-the-counter stuff during pregnancy, bro.

Haan na, pregnancy nausea is so irritating, literally nothing feels good. These tablets only work if you have a burning sensation in your chest. For actual vomiting feelings, it is better to ask your gynac for safe pills, ho na.
