While sulfates can make your hair dry and prone to breakage, real hair fall usually happens from inside. Eating a protein-rich diet with amla, curry leaves, and walnuts is much more important. Don't just change shampoos, focus on your nutrition too.
I got so anxious reading online that sulfates cause permanent baldness that I stopped washing my hair for a week! But my doctor told me they only cause surface dryness and not actual root hair loss. Try switching to a mild shampoo to ease your mind.
I used to suffer from heavy hair fall and immediately blamed my sulfate shampoo. But once I got my blood tests done, I found out I had a vitamin D deficiency. Once I fixed that, my hair fall stopped, even though I still use normal shampoos.
Please don't waste time just changing hair products like I did. I kept changing shampoos for a year while my hairline kept receding, ignoring my genetic male pattern baldness. Go see a qualified dermatologist immediately to get the right treatment.
