Hey, don't stress too much about those little purple lines! They are super common during pregnancy because of all the extra blood and hormone changes. For most of my friends, they faded away quite a bit within 3 to 4 months of delivery. Just give your body some time to heal, you are doing great!

I have been reading up on this because I started noticing tiny spider veins on my thighs in my sixth month. From what I have researched, they fade for most women within 3 to 12 months after the baby is born. Has anyone here had to undergo any medical treatment for them, or did they all just fade away naturally?

In my experience, while some spider veins naturally shrink and fade post-delivery, they might not completely disappear on their own if you have a standing job. It is highly recommended to wear compression stockings when you are working and avoid sitting with crossed legs. If they still bother you after 6 months, you can easily consult a dermatologist for safe laser treatments.

I actually had so many of these on my calves during my second trimester, yaar. I was so worried they would stay forever, but they honestly faded a lot within six months post-baby. Just don't stand in one place for too long and keep your legs elevated on a pillow whenever you get time to rest.

Yes, they usually improve as your hormone levels go back to normal, but staying active really speeds up the process. Once your doctor gives you the green light post-delivery, start doing light walks and gentle leg stretches to improve venous blood flow. It makes a huge difference in reducing the appearance of these veins.

Haan, delivery ke baad yeh kaafi hadd tak apne aap theek ho jaate hain jab sharir ka weight kam hota hai. Aap roz thoda thoda walk kiya karo taaki blood circulation sahi rahe. Jab bhi sofa pe baitho, pairon ke niche ek chota stool rakh liya karo, usse bahut aaram milega.

Mine faded significantly but didn't go away 100% after my delivery, which is also quite normal. The best tip I can give you is to avoid hot baths and keep your weight in a healthy range post-pregnancy. Elevating your legs at the end of the day is a lifesaver for preventing new ones from forming.
