Do sauna blankets work for weight loss?

I keep seeing ads for sauna blankets claiming they help with weight loss. Do sauna blankets actually work for losing weight, or are they just a gimmick? I'm looking for effective ways to shed kilos.

I bought one thinking it would help with my PCOS weight gain, but honestly, it only makes you lose water weight through sweat. The moment you drink water, the weight comes right back. It might help with relaxing your muscles, but don't rely on it for real fat loss.

Beta, these modern machine shortcuts do not work for long-term health. Real weight loss comes from eating simple, home-cooked food and walking daily. Drinking warm water with lemon and honey in the morning is much better than sweating artificially under a heavy hot blanket.

They might help you relax after a long day, but please don't expect them to burn fat. Take care of your health gently and don't push your body into extreme heat unnecessarily.

Be very careful with these heated blankets. I used one and ended up severely dehydrated, which caused a sudden drop in my blood pressure and extreme dizziness. If you have any underlying heart or BP issues, please consult your doctor before using such devices.

My daughter wanted to buy one of these online for her weight issues, but we decided against it. It is much safer to focus on regular homemade meals and active play or cycling. Artificial heating can sometimes cause skin rashes or dehydration in young people.

I got so scared when my weight dropped by 1 kg after one session and then jumped back up the next morning. Then I realized it was just water loss, not fat. It is totally normal, so don't stress; just use it for relaxation, not as a weight loss tool.
