Do pumpkin seeds help with weight loss?

I'm trying to eat healthier and lose some weight, and I've started adding pumpkin seeds to my salads. I read online they might be good for weight management. Do pumpkin seeds help with weight loss, or are their benefits mainly for other things?

Yes they do work. I just sprinkle a spoonful of roasted pumpkin seeds on my morning curd, it keeps me full for quite a long time.

I lost about 4 kgs recently and pumpkin seeds were a huge part of my snack routine. They actually stop those random sugar cravings. Just don't buy the salted ones from the market, dry roast them at home instead.

I read so much about pumpkin seeds and got scared of eating too many because of the high fiber causing stomach issues. But honestly, if you eat just a small tablespoon daily, it seems to help. Just drink plenty of water with them so your digestion stays fine.

They are nutritious but keep in mind they are also high in fats and calories. It is always better to consult a dietician first to see how much fits into your daily calorie limit safely.

Beta, I have tried everything from chia seeds to methi water for my weight. Pumpkin seeds are very good and gentle on the body. Try taking them with a warm cup of green tea in the evening, it really helps control the appetite.

From what I see, pumpkin seeds are loaded with zinc and magnesium which helps with metabolism. Don't treat them as a miracle cure though, just use them to replace heavy tea-time biscuits.

They are a great source of protein and healthy fats for recovery. But remember, seeds alone won't burn fat. Pair them with a daily 40-minute brisk walk and check with your trainer or doc if you are starting a new exercise plan.
