Do pregnancy symptoms come and go?

I just found out I'm pregnant, and I've been feeling some symptoms like nausea and fatigue, but they seem to come and go. One day I feel very pregnant, and the next day, not so much. Is it normal for early pregnancy symptoms to fluctuate and come and go?

Yes, they absolutely fluctuate, so don't run to the clinic or buy multiple expensive pregnancy tests every time your nausea disappears for a day. It is totally normal for symptoms to vary as hormones shift. Just keep a track of your regular scheduled scans to save on unnecessary checkup costs.

My mother-in-law told me that the body adjusts to the pregnancy, which is why some days you feel completely normal and other days very tired. Still, I asked my doctor during my scan, and she reassured me that symptom fluctuation is completely healthy. Trust your doctor and stay calm.

While symptoms coming and going is usually normal, a sudden and complete disappearance of all symptoms early on can sometimes be a sign to watch. Having had complications before, I always advise checking with your doctor if you feel a drastic change, just for your peace of mind.

According to my gynaecologist, HCG and progesterone levels rise in waves, which is why your morning sickness might disappear for two days and then return. She told me that unless there is severe cramping or bleeding, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. It is just your body adapting.

I used to cry and panic every time my breast tenderness or nausea stopped, thinking I had lost the baby. It was an incredibly stressful emotional rollercoaster for me. If you are feeling this anxiety, please know it is completely normal and your feelings are valid.

They definitely do. One day my wife would be craving spicy food and the next day she couldn't stand the smell of the kitchen. It is just hormonal chaos. No need to overanalyze every single day's symptoms, just go with the flow.
