Do phytoceramides cause weight gain?

Adding phytoceramide supplements to my skincare routine is something I'm thinking about. However, since I'm also trying to manage my weight, I want to know if they have any side effects like weight gain.

I have been taking these for my dry skin for three months now, and I haven't seen any change in my weight. They are just plant-based lipids for skin barrier repair, they don't have calories or affect metabolism. No need to worry about weight gain with these.

These are just supplements to help keep the skin hydrated and healthy. Weight gain happens when we eat more oily food and do no physical work, not from a small skin pill. Just eat your normal home food and keep moving.

These supplements are quite expensive and honestly not necessary for most people. If you are worried about skin dryness, just drinking enough water and using basic coconut oil is much cheaper. Don't waste money on things that might worry you anyway.

They won't affect your weight at all because they don't impact your daily calorie balance. Just keep doing your daily 30-minute walks and gym sessions, and you can safely take these for your skin health without any stress.

In our times, we just used fresh milk cream for dry skin, and we never had to worry about these modern capsule side effects. These phytoceramides are just fat molecules from plants to help skin, they won't make you fat. Rest easy and don't overthink.

Actually yaar, there is no connection between phytoceramides and putting on weight. They are just for locking moisture in your skin, not for your body fat. I've used them and my weight remained absolutely the same, so chill.

I agree with others, they do not cause weight gain. Just make sure you buy a good brand without added sugar or fillers.
