Do hats affect hair loss?

Wearing caps and hats almost daily is something I like to do when I step out. My father always tells me that wearing them too much will make me lose my hair. Is there any truth to this belief, or is it just a common myth?

Unless your hat is extremely tight and pulling on the roots constantly, it wont cause baldness. Tracking your daily stress and sleep on health apps will actually show you the real culprits behind hair fall.

Exactly, hats only cause hair fall if they are dirty and cause scalp infections. Just keep your hats clean and you are good to go.

If you are wearing it occasionally during your commute, there is zero risk. Just avoid wearing super tight caps for 10 hours a day as it blocks proper air circulation to your scalp.

Haan na, people unnecessarily blame hats for everything. Actually it is the sweat and dirt that accumulates if we don't wash our hair regularly, so keep the scalp clean and relax!

In our days, we wore caps all the time in the sun and nobody lost hair because of it. Don't worry so much, genetics and daily tension are the real reasons for hair loss, not your hat.
