Do compression socks help knee pain?

After my daily runs, my knees often feel a dull ache. My physiotherapist briefly mentioned that compression socks might be helpful. Can compression socks really provide some relief for knee pain?

Honestly, they really do help with the stability part. Just make sure you get the right size so it doesnt cut off your blood flow near the calf.

They provide some temporary warmth and support when walking, which is good. But along with socks, try gentle micro-movements of the kneecap and light ankle rotations every morning to keep the joints lubricated naturally.

I was also reading about this online for my mother's joint pain. Do we have to wear them the whole day, or only while walking? If anyone has used them for a long time please let me know.

Man, my knees creak more than my old wooden doors at 3 AM. I tried these socks and they did help stop that weird throbbing feeling, but honestly, wearing them in this heat is another level of struggle.

I totally get it, dealing with knee issues makes even simple standing up so difficult. The socks definitely give a snug feeling of relief during long sitting hours, but please get a doctor to check the actual joint health once.
