Do chemo pills cause hair loss?

Meri behen abhi chemotherapy le rahi hai, aur usko pills diye hain ghar pe lene ke liye. Uske baal pehle se hi gir rahe hain. Kya yeh chemo pills bhi baal jhadne ka karan ban sakte hain?

Haan na, some chemo pills can cause hair thinning or loss, but it is not as severe as IV chemotherapy. It really depends on the specific pill, so please ask your doctor about it.

My niece had to take oral chemotherapy pills and she did experience mild hair thinning, not complete hair loss. It is hard to watch, but remember that the hair usually grows back fully once the treatment is over.

It depends on the specific pill, as some might cause hair loss and others don't. While going through treatment, focus on eating high-protein, comforting home-cooked meals to keep your strength up.

Hey, try not to worry too much about the hair loss. Some chemo pills only cause minor thinning, and even if hair falls out, it is temporary. Just focus on your health and recovery right now.

Some oral chemo medications do cause hair loss, while others do not. You must ask the treating oncologist directly about the specific side effects of the prescribed pill, as they can guide you safely.
