Do cancer moles grow hair?

I have a mole on my arm that used to have hair growing out of it, but recently the hair fell out and it looks a bit different. I'm worried if this is a sign of something serious. Do cancer moles grow hair, or is it the opposite?

Bro, I was up till 3 AM googling my own hairy moles because of random panic. Usually, hairy moles are actually benign because it means the hair follicle is healthy. But honestly, my brain is too fried to be sure, so just go to a dermatologist and save your sleep.

I had a prominent mole on my arm that suddenly started growing a thick, coarse hair. I was extremely worried, but when I got it checked, the doctor told me it was completely normal and safe. Still, everyone's body is different, so getting a professional look is best.

Please do not ignore any changes in your moles. I once ignored a small, changing mark on my back that turned out to be serious and required extensive surgery. If a mole is growing, bleeding, changing color, or shape, please consult a dermatologist immediately.

Actually, my doctor explained that a hair growing out of a mole usually indicates that the skin structure underneath is still functioning normally, which is a good sign. However, if the mole is asymmetrical, has irregular borders, or is changing rapidly, those are the signs that require an urgent biopsy.

While hair on a mole is usually a sign that it is non-cancerous, we cannot make any assumptions based on online articles. Skin changes should always be evaluated under a dermatoscope. It is best to visit a certified dermatologist to get a clear and reassuring answer.

Haan, normal moles me to hair growth common hai, but abnormal change ho toh risk nahi lene ka na. If the mole is growing bigger or looking weird, just show it to a doc once. Tension khatam ho jayegi pure ki pure.
