Do breast implants cause cancer?

I'm considering getting breast implants for cosmetic reasons, but I've heard some conflicting information about their safety. Specifically, do breast implants cause cancer? I want to make an informed decision.

Before deciding on implants, you should factor in the lifetime costs of MRI scans and screenings. They don't cause typical breast cancer, but there is a rare immune system cancer linked to textured implants. Plan your finances for regular follow-up scans.

They don't cause the common breast cancer, but there is a very rare type of cancer linked to certain textured implants. If you are planning to get them, just ask your doctor for smooth silicone ones to be safe.

I just got my implants replaced last month and my doctor briefed me on this. They don't cause standard breast cancer, but textured implants have a small risk of a rare lymphoma. Smooth implants are generally considered much safer now.

Haan na, people often get scared about this. Regular breast cancer with implants is not a direct link, but that rare immune cell cancer is there with textured ones. Better to choose smooth implants aur doctor se clear discuss karna.

I had severe capsule contraction after my implant surgery and had to get them removed. Implants are linked to a rare type of lymphoma called BIA-ALCL. Please consult a qualified plastic surgeon and discuss the risks thoroughly before proceeding.

Don't worry too much, the risk is extremely low. They don't cause regular breast cancer, but there is a rare lymphoma associated with certain implant types. Just research well and choose a highly certified surgeon for your peace of mind.
