Do blood pressure pills cause hair loss?

My doctor increased the dosage of my blood pressure pills last month, and since then I've been losing a lot of hair. Is it possible that these blood pressure pills could be causing hair loss? I'm quite worried about it.

Yes, some of these tablets can cause hair thinning. Regular practice of Balayam and gentle head massages with warm coconut oil can help improve blood circulation to the scalp. However, please continue your prescribed pills and talk to your doctor if the hair loss is significant.

Our bodies sometimes react differently to external substances, but we must stay positive and peaceful during the healing process. Hair loss can be stressful, but stressing will only increase the fall. Trust your doctor, discuss the side effects openly, and take care of your inner peace.

Before you spend thousands on dermatologists and expensive hair growth vitamins, just check if your BP medicine is the culprit. A simple consultation fee with your regular doctor to change the salt will save you a lot of unnecessary expenses. It is the most budget-friendly way to solve this.

I agree, some beta-blockers definitely cause hair fall. Please ask your doctor to change the medicine, it worked for me.

I faced this exact issue last year when my doctor started me on BP pills. My hair was shedding like crazy, so I went back and told him directly. He changed the brand to an ARB blocker and my hair fall stopped within a month.

Haan bhai, hair fall toh ho sakta hai kuch BP tablets se, especially beta-blockers se. Par iske dar se khud se dawai lena mat chhod dena na. Apne doc se milo aur bolo ki dusra alternative de dein.

Some BP drugs definitely list hair loss as a side effect, but don't waste time trying expensive shampoos or serums to fix it. Just drop an email or book a quick 10-minute consult with your physician. They can easily switch the molecule to one that doesn't affect your hair.
