Do acupuncture earrings work for weight loss?

Trying different things for weight loss, a friend recently recommended acupuncture earrings. Do these actually work for losing weight, or is it just a fad? I'm looking for effective solutions.

In our town, people try many such new things, but honestly, these earrings alone don't show any magic. True weight loss only happens when you eat home-cooked simple food and walk daily in the morning air. Don't waste your hard-earned money on these shortcuts, beta.

There is absolutely no scientific proof that wearing earrings can make you lose weight. If your doctor allows, the only real way is starting a daily 45-minute brisk walk and keeping a check on your calorie intake. Consistency in exercise is what actually burns fat.

Clinically speaking, there is no peer-reviewed evidence supporting acupuncture earrings for obesity management. Please consult a qualified bariatric specialist or clinical dietitian at a good hospital. Ask your doctor clearly about a scientific meal plan instead of relying on fad products.

I tried so many of these gimmicks before I realized my weight gain was actually due to an undiagnosed thyroid issue. If you are struggling to lose weight despite trying, please get your TSH levels tested first. Regular doctor follow-ups and proper medication worked for me, not these earrings.

If wearing earrings could make people thin, my wife would be invisible by now given how many she buys! Jokes aside, there are no shortcuts to weight loss, we just have to eat less rotis and move our lazy bodies.

I totally get it, losing weight is so incredibly hard and we feel like trying anything that might help even a little bit. But please don't fall for these marketing traps. It is much better to focus on gentle lifestyle changes that actually nourish your body.
