Can zyrtec be taken during pregnancy?

I suffer from seasonal allergies and usually take Zyrtec. Now I'm pregnant and wondering if it's safe to continue using it. Can Zyrtec be taken during pregnancy?

Pregnancy is such a delicate time, and it is natural to be cautious about allergy medicines. Many mothers do take it under supervision, but please check with your gynaecologist before swallowing any pill. Take care of yourself.

When my wife was pregnant, we were so scared of even giving her a simple paracetamol! The list of safe medicines seems to change every day. Better not to take any chances or rely on online advice, just call your doctor and get a safe prescription.

Haan na, during pregnancy we worry about every little thing we eat or take. My doctor told me some allergy tablets are okay, but you must ask your own doc first because every pregnancy is different. Don't take any OTC medicines directly, ho na.

As someone who struggled with hormonal issues for years before conceiving, I am always extra careful about what goes into my body. While Zyrtec is often considered safe by doctors, it's incredibly important to get a green light from your gynaecologist first to ensure both you and the baby are safe.

In our days, we avoided all English medicines during pregnancy unless it was absolutely necessary. For mild allergies or cold, steam inhalation with a little mint or warm water with honey can bring a lot of relief. Always consult your doctor before taking any tablets, beta.
