Can you use benzoyl peroxide during pregnancy?

I've been dealing with acne breakouts, and my dermatologist recommended benzoyl peroxide. I just found out I'm pregnant. Is it safe to use benzoyl peroxide during pregnancy for acne treatment?

According to most gynecologists, low concentrations of benzoyl peroxide (5% or less) are considered safe to use in limited amounts during pregnancy. However, systemic absorption is minimal, but it is always best to double-check with your doctor before starting any active acne treatments.

Just like managing thyroid levels requires regular blood tests and doctor visits during pregnancy, skin health also needs proper expert monitoring. Avoid starting strong chemical creams like benzoyl peroxide without your doctor's advice.

My cousin had crazy pregnancy acne and wanted to use benzoyl peroxide, but her doctor told her to avoid high strength gels. They shifted her to a gentler wash instead. Definitely consult your gynac first.

Why take any risk with strong chemical ointments during these precious months? For simple pregnancy pimples, just wash your face with mild soap twice a day and drink lots of water. For anything stronger, ask your doctor.

Beta, pregnancy me face par tez dawaiyan lagane se bachna chahiye. Humare yahan toh chandan ya neem ka lep lagate hain cooling ke liye. Agar pimples bohot zyada hain, toh bade doctor se salah zaroor lo.
