Can you transmit tb without symptoms?

A colleague of mine was diagnosed with TB, but he said he hadn't had any symptoms until a recent check-up. I'm now worried about exposure. Is it possible to transmit TB to others even if you don't have any visible symptoms?

From what I understand, people with latent TB have the bacteria but do not show symptoms and cannot transmit it to others. However, if it becomes active, it can be spread. Because our immune systems can be tricky, it is always best to consult a doctor if you suspect any exposure.

I once ignored a mild cough for weeks thinking it was just pollution, and it turned out to be a major lung issue. If you have been exposed to TB, don't wait for heavy symptoms like coughing blood to appear. Go to a government clinic or hospital and get a proper TB skin or blood test immediately.

My family had a very difficult time when my uncle developed TB, and we had to get everyone tested. You can have latent TB without knowing, but only active TB is contagious. Please go to a pulmonologist or a government health center to get tested if you have been around a TB patient.

Having diabetes can lower your immunity, making you more susceptible to active TB. People with latent TB don't spread it, but it can activate easily if your health is weak. Keep your blood sugar controlled and consult your doctor if you have had any known contact with TB.

Oh my god, this TB stuff makes me so nervous because it can stay quiet in the body for so long! Is it true that latent TB doesn't spread? I highly recommend getting a doctor's opinion and doing a test if you are feeling even slightly anxious about exposure.

I always love eating out at crowded spots, but it does make me think about airborne health risks like TB. Active TB spreads through coughing, but latent TB doesn't transmit. If you are worried, a quick checkup with a doctor is much better than guessing.
