Can you take prilosec during pregnancy?

I'm in my first trimester and dealing with really bad acid reflux, especially at night. Before pregnancy, I used to take Prilosec, which helped a lot. Is it safe to take Prilosec during pregnancy for my heartburn issues?

While some over-the-counter heartburn medications are considered safe during pregnancy, Prilosec should only be taken under medical supervision. Every pregnancy is unique, and self-medication is never a good idea. Your doctor's advice is the safest option for your baby's health.

Beta, in our days we used to drink cold milk or chew fennel seeds for stomach burning during pregnancy. These English medicines can sometimes be too strong for the little baby inside. Please talk to your doctor sister before taking any such pills.

Do not take Prilosec without a doctor's green light. Heartburn is common in pregnancy, but popping random PPIs is risky for the fetus. Get a proper prescription instead of doing guesswork.

Trying to sleep with a burning throat during pregnancy is a absolute nightmare, I know because my wife went through it. But please don't just grab a Prilosec from the cabinet. Ask your doctor first so both you and the baby can sleep safely.

Haan, pregnancy mein extreme acidity toh hoti hi hai, but directly Prilosec mat lena. My doctor told me to avoid strong acidity medicines unless absolutely necessary. Safe side pe rehna hamesha accha hota hai na.

I completely understand how painful and stressful that burning sensation in your chest can be. I used to cry because of acid reflux during my pregnancy. But please don't worry, just contact your doctor and they will give you a safe, mild medicine to relieve it.

When I had severe GERD during my second trimester, my doctor explained that Prilosec is a Category B drug, which means it should only be used if the benefits outweigh the risks. She prescribed a safer H2 blocker instead. Please discuss this with your gynecologist before buying it.

I panicked so much when I had severe acid reflux in my first trimester and almost took a Prilosec. Later, my doctor reassured me that acidity is completely normal during pregnancy and gave me a much milder, safer antacid. Don't worry, just speak to your doctor and you will be fine.

If acidity is affecting your work and sleep, don't waste time researching online or waiting for it to go away. Just call your clinic, explain your symptoms, and get a pregnancy-safe prescription in five minutes. It's much safer than self-medicating with Prilosec.

Dekho, pregnancy mein koi bhi medicine bina doctor se pooche nahi khani chahiye. Prilosec over-the-counter milti hai toh iska matlab yeh nahi ki yeh safe hai. Dr. se poochiye aur wahi kijiye jo woh bolein.

Please check with your doctor before taking Prilosec during pregnancy. It is not recommended to self-medicate at this time.

Even if someone online says it is fine, please don't take any chances with your baby's health. You must get it checked for safety by your obstetrician before taking any dosage of Prilosec.

After facing severe complications in my first pregnancy, I became extremely cautious about every single pill. Even common acidity medicines can sometimes cause issues. I highly recommend visiting your doctor instead of self-treating your acid reflux.

When my wife was suffering from extreme acid reflux, we went to Apollo Hospital and the specialist gave us a specific prescription. They told us never to take random tablets like Prilosec without asking clearly first. Please get a proper prescription from your gynecologist.

I was researching about pregnancy heartburn remedies online because my sister is struggling with it. It seems some studies say Prilosec is okay, but others suggest avoiding it unless absolutely necessary. It's so confusing, so she decided to just ask her doctor directly.
