Can you take a pregnancy test at night time?

I missed my period, and I'm really keen to know if I'm pregnant, but I only got a chance to buy a test late in the evening. Is it okay to take a pregnancy test at night time, or is morning the only accurate time?

Actually, I was reading about this. If your period is already delayed by more than a week, then testing at night is totally fine because the hCG levels are already high. But if it's early, night testing might give a false negative.

You can, but do you really want to spend the whole night staring at the ceiling because of a faint line? Do yourself a favor, sleep peacefully, and test in the morning when the results are actually reliable.

You can take it at night, but if it is very early in your pregnancy, the result might be negative because your urine gets diluted from drinking water all day. I made this mistake with my first child and panicked. It is much better to wait for the morning.

I tried testing at night during my first pregnancy and got a false negative, which delayed my doctor visit. If your period is late and you are feeling any severe side pain or cramping, please see a gynaecologist directly instead of relying only on home tests.

Yes, you can, but morning is scientifically better. My wife had to track everything very precisely because of her sugar levels, and her doctor told her that testing at night often leads to unnecessary confusion due to diluted urine.

Yes, you can, but since you probably drank water and other fluids throughout the day, the urine concentration will be low. To get an accurate reading, it is always recommended to use the first morning sample.

Hey, don't worry. If you are really anxious, you can take one tonight, but just keep in mind that a negative might not be accurate. To be absolutely sure, just repeat it tomorrow morning with your first urine.
