Can you take a pregnancy test anytime?

I'm feeling a little anxious and want to take a pregnancy test, but I'm unsure about the best time. Can you take a pregnancy test anytime, or are there specific times when it's more accurate?

You can take it anytime once your period is missed, but morning urine is always best. However, if you are experiencing severe cramping or heavy spotting, please don't wait for home test results and go see a doctor immediately.

Honestly, I barely know what time of day it is with my sleep schedule, but yes, you can test anytime. Just remember that afternoon tests might show a false negative if you've been chugging water all day. Morning is safest.

I tried testing in the middle of the afternoon once and it came out negative because I had had three cups of tea. The next morning, it was clearly positive, so from my experience, morning is much better.

If your period is already delayed by a week, you can test at 2 AM or 2 PM, it won't matter because hCG levels will be high enough. But if you are testing early, stick to the first morning urine.

I want to test tonight but I am so scared of getting a false negative and stressing all night. Has anyone else tested late at night and still got a correct positive result?

You can test anytime of the day, but early morning urine gives the most accurate results! Hope you get the result you are wishing for!

Sure, you can do it at midnight if you want the suspense! But if you want actual accuracy without squinting at faint lines, wait till the morning.

You can test anytime, but please read the instruction manual on the box carefully before starting. If your home test is negative but your period still doesn't show up for a week, get a blood test done at a lab for safety.
