Can you still be pregnant with a negative pregnancy test?

I've missed my period for almost two weeks, but I've taken two home pregnancy tests, and both came back negative. I'm so confused because I feel some symptoms. Can you still be pregnant with a negative pregnancy test, or should I trust the tests?

I know how heartbreaking and confusing those negative lines can be when your mind is racing. Yes, it's possible if you tested too early, so hang in there and try to test again in a couple of days.

It is scientifically possible because of low hCG levels in early pregnancy or if you ovulated later than you thought. My gynecologist always advises using the first morning urine sample for the most accurate results, or getting a blood beta-hCG test if your period is still delayed.

Yes, sometimes the body takes time to show signs. Try to practice gentle breathing exercises to calm your mind, and repeat the test in the morning after a few days.

My wife got two negative tests when she was actually pregnant because we checked too early. Best to get a blood test done at a lab, it's way more accurate than these home strips.

Hey, don't stress too much, okay? Sometimes the hormone levels are just too low to register on the strip, so just wait for a bit and try again with your morning pee!

In our days, these home kits weren't even common and we relied on body signs. Yes, tests can be wrong early on, so just wait a week and see a doctor if your cycle doesn't start.
