Can you have intercourse during pregnancy?

My husband and I just found out we're expecting! We're thrilled but also have many questions. Is it generally safe to have intercourse during pregnancy?

Please check with your gynecologist before doing anything. My wife and I assumed it was completely safe without asking, but she had a low-lying placenta that we didn't know about, which led to sudden bleeding and a major medical emergency. Always get a clear go-ahead from your doctor first.

Yes, normally safe hota hai, ho na. Bas thoda comfortable positions try karna chahiye as the tummy grows. Agar koi pain ya bleeding feel ho toh turant ruk jana chahiye aur doc se consult karna thik rehta hai.

We were absolutely terrified of hurting the baby and avoided it completely in the first trimester. But our doctor explained that the thick mucus plug and amniotic fluid protect the baby perfectly. Once we understood that, we felt so much more relaxed and realized it is completely normal.

Haan bhai, bilkul safe hota hai agar pregnancy mein koi complication nahi hai toh. Bas doctor se ek baar confirm kar lena chahiye first checkup pe. Baby toh uterus ke andar thaili mein completely safe rehta hai, toh darna mat na.

It is totally fine unless your doctor has specifically ruled it out. Just listen to your body and avoid anything that feels uncomfortable or causes strain. Keeping up with mild exercises like prenatal yoga and brisk walking also helps keep your pelvic floor muscles strong and flexible.

It is generally safe as long as your doctor hasn't advised pelvic rest. Along with this, make sure the mother is eating a highly nutritious diet rich in iron and calcium to keep her energy levels up. A healthy body makes the entire pregnancy experience much more comfortable and safe.
