Can you have an ectopic pregnancy and a period?

I'm worried about an ectopic pregnancy because I had a very light period, but I'm still feeling some pregnancy symptoms. Can you actually have an ectopic pregnancy and still get your period?

This is a very serious medical question. Bleeding that looks like a period can happen during an ectopic pregnancy, but it is actually abnormal bleeding. Please do not delay and consult your gynecologist immediately, while keeping your diet healthy and avoiding stress.

My mother always tells me to stay calm during health scares, but with ectopic issues, we must trust the doctor immediately. Sometimes, vaginal bleeding in an ectopic pregnancy can be mistaken for a normal period, which is very dangerous. Please get an ultrasound done to be absolutely sure.

I know how terrifying it is to read about ectopic pregnancies, and your anxiety is completely valid. But please know that what seems like a period could be dangerous bleeding from the pregnancy. Please call your doctor right away to get a blood test and scan done for your peace of mind.

Hey there! This is actually a very important query. Bleeding can definitely happen, but it’s not a true period. Please visit your doctor as soon as possible to stay safe and get a quick scan done! Take care of yourself.

Listen to me clearly, do not sit at home thinking it is just a period. Ectopic pregnancy bleeding can look exactly like a period but it is a medical emergency if it ruptures. Go to a good hospital immediately and get an ultrasound done.
