Can you go swimming during pregnancy?

In my first trimester and I love to swim for exercise and relaxation. My mother-in-law told me it might not be safe to swim while pregnant because of infections. Is it actually okay to go swimming during pregnancy, or should I avoid it?

Swimming was my absolute savior during my second trimester because it took all the weight off my aching back. Just make sure the pool is clean and not too crowded so you don't get bumped into. Always ask your gynaecologist before starting.

I really want to go swimming to relieve my pelvic pressure, but I am so scared of slipping on the wet floor or getting a vaginal infection from the pool chlorine. Did any other pregnant moms feel this way, or is it actually very safe?

I struggled with heavy anxiety during my pregnancy and feared doing any physical activity at all. But when my doctor gently pushed me to try light swimming, it worked wonders for both my mental peace and joint pain. It is okay to be scared, just take it slow.

Swimming during pregnancy is honestly amazing! 🏊‍♀️ It makes you feel so light and weightless. Just make sure the water isn't too hot and take plenty of breaks to hydrate. Have a happy and safe splash! 💕

Dekho, swimming achhi exercise hai pregnancy mein, par gande pool mein mat jana infection ho jayega. Normal temperature paani mein slow swim karo aur koi dive-vibe mat marna. Pehle doctor se haan bolwa lo.
