Can you get pcos after pregnancy?

I recently had my second baby, and ever since, my periods have been very irregular, and I've noticed some unusual hair growth. I had no PCOS symptoms before my pregnancies. Is it possible to develop PCOS after pregnancy?

Actually yes, my wife got diagnosed with it around 10 months after our baby was born, yaar. We thought postpartum weight gain is normal but later doctor did some tests. Better to consult your gynac once if you are feeling some symptoms.

It definitely happens due to major hormonal shifts. My tracker showed crazy resting heart rate and sleep cycles post-pregnancy, which led me to get blood tests done. Track your cycles and symptoms on an app and show the data to an endocrinologist.

My sister faced insulin resistance and PCOS after her pregnancy. Since I manage diabetes, I know how crucial blood sugar management is for this. Please get an insulin fasting test done along with your pelvic scan, doctor will advise best.

I got severe PCOS right after my first delivery. Don't panic, it is manageable with consistent lifestyle changes. Focus on strength training and high-protein meals rather than extreme dieting, it really helped me get my cycles back on track.

Take a deep breath, dear. Yes, your body goes through huge changes after having a baby, and PCOS can show up then. Don't stress too much right now, just book an appointment with your doctor and they will guide you step by step.
