Can you drink herbal tea during pregnancy?

Being pregnant, I have been feeling a bit stressed lately and sometimes have trouble sleeping. I usually enjoy a cup of chamomile or peppermint tea before bed. I'm not sure if all herbal teas are safe during pregnancy, or if there are specific types I should avoid.

Some herbal teas like ginger or peppermint are very helpful for morning sickness. But avoid strong herbs like hibiscus or chamomile without asking your doctor, as some can trigger uterine contractions.

I used to track my daily food intake on an app and realized many herbal teas contain unregulated ingredients. Stick to simple ginger-lemon water made at home to be absolutely safe.

A warm cup of mild ginger tea can bring great peace and comfort to your body. Just keep your thoughts positive and consult your doctor to know which herbs are gentle and safe for the baby.

Hey, don't stress too much! A light cup of ginger-tulsi tea is perfectly fine when you feel bloated. Just avoid exotic herbal blends from the market until you talk to your gynaecologist.

Some commercial herbal teas contain blends that aren't recommended during pregnancy. Plain ginger or green tea in moderation is usually fine, but always read the labels and ask your doctor first.

I really want to drink herbal tea to calm my nerves, but I read online that some can cause cramps. Did anyone else drink ginger tea in their first trimester? Was it completely fine?
