Can you drink a glass of wine during pregnancy?

I'm in my first trimester and was at a family dinner where everyone was having wine. I politely refused, but then someone mentioned a small glass is fine. Can you drink a glass of wine during pregnancy, or is any alcohol completely off-limits?

Nahi yaar, pregnancy mein wine bilkul avoid karni chahiye, haan. Thoda sa bhi alcohol baby ke liye thik nahi hota na. Pure 9 months parhez rakhna hi sabse badhiya aur safe option hai.

There is no proven safe limit for alcohol during pregnancy, so even one glass of wine is not worth the risk. It is much easier and safer to swap it for a mocktail or sparkling water. Focus on your health and check with your gynecologist if you have concerns.

Look, as a dad surviving on two hours of sleep, I'd say save the wine for when the baby is actually here and keeping you up all night! For now, medical guidelines say zero alcohol is the only safe way. You don't want to take any chances.

During pregnancy, everything you consume goes straight to the growing baby. Alcohol can severely affect the baby's development, so it is highly recommended to completely avoid wine or any spirit. Stick to healthy fruit juices, coconut water, and a nutrient-dense diet.

Please don't take even a small risk with your baby's health. I once ignored minor warnings about my lifestyle choices and paid a heavy price later. Get a proper consultation with your doctor and follow their advice strictly; completely avoiding alcohol is the safest choice.
