Can you bleed during pregnancy and still be pregnant?

In my first trimester, yesterday I saw a little bit of blood. My mother said it happens sometimes, but I'm really stressed. Can a woman bleed during pregnancy and still be pregnant, or does it always mean something is wrong?

Yes, dear. I had bleeding in my third month and was convinced I lost the baby, but my son is now 10 years old and perfectly healthy. It is definitely possible, but you must consult your doctor immediately to check.

Yes, many women experience this and have healthy pregnancies. Try to stay calm, rest as much as you can, and let your doctor know about it.

In my own pregnancy, I had bright red bleeding in the first trimester. The doctor put me on progesterone support and bed rest, and everything turned out fine. Every pregnancy is different, so please contact your clinic.

Yes, you can. It can be due to implantation, cervical sensitivity, or a subchorionic hematoma, but you need a scan to verify. Lie down completely, avoid stairs, and call your doctor right away.

I was reading about this on a medical blog, and it says up to 25% of women have some bleeding in early pregnancy and go on to have healthy babies. Still, they emphasize that a gynecologist's checkup is a must.

Please go to the hospital immediately. I once ignored light bleeding thinking it was normal, but it turned out to be a complication that needed urgent care. It’s always better to be safe and get checked.

Don't search for answers on forums to see if your bleeding is 'normal.' Any bleeding during pregnancy requires a doctor's examination and an ultrasound. Go to your clinic instead of guessing.
