Can yeast cause weight gain?

I'm trying to lose weight but it's been a struggle. Someone told me that yeast in certain foods can cause weight gain. Is this actually true, or is it just a misconception?

A yeast infection itself doesn't cause weight gain, but things like high sugar intake or stress can trigger both yeast overgrowth and weight changes. Focus on cutting down processed sugars and eating curd, it really helped me feel better.

I can only share what happened to me. When I had chronic yeast infections, I also felt extremely bloated and heavy, which felt like weight gain. Once I cleared the infection with the doctor's help, that bloated feeling went away.

Hey, don't stress too much! Dietary yeast or yeast infections don't directly cause you to gain weight. You might just be dealing with some temporary bloating. Drink plenty of water and eat fresh home-cooked meals, you'll be fine!

No beta, yeast doesn't directly increase your weight. But sometimes when we eat too much bakery food with yeast and sugar, we can gain weight. Eat simple ghar ka khana like dahi-chawal, it is very good for your stomach.

Please don't ignore persistent yeast infections or sudden weight changes. I once ignored my symptoms thinking it was just a minor dietary issue, but it turned out to be related to an underlying thyroid imbalance. Get a proper checkup done.
