Can wine damage your liver?

I've been hearing a lot about alcohol and liver health recently. As someone who enjoys a glass of wine now and then, I want to understand if wine can damage your liver over time.

Ah, the age-old dream that wine is just grape juice and totally safe! Sadly, my doctor shattered that dream and told me my liver treats wine just like desi daru if I drink too much of it. Moderation is the only way out, my friends.

Yes, consistent wine consumption can lead to fatty liver and eventual damage over the years. Our bodies need regular breaks to detoxify and heal. I always suggest keeping alcohol to a bare minimum and focusing on fresh, home-cooked food.

Regularly drinking wine can definitely burden the liver and cause heat in the body. I find that drinking warm warm with lemon in the morning helps support digestion, but if you have persistent fatigue or pain, you must consult a proper medical doctor.

I have been having a glass of wine almost every night to relax, but now I am starting to feel a dull ache on my right side and I am so scared. Has anyone else felt this? I am thinking of booking an ultrasound soon to check.

I totally get it, we all look for ways to unwind after a crazy day and a glass of wine seems so harmless. But alcohol can gradually take a toll on our liver without us even realizing it. Please be gentle with your body and consider cutting back.

Any form of alcohol, including wine, is metabolized by the liver and can cause inflammation and scarring over time. It is always best to discuss your lifestyle habits with a doctor and get regular health checkups to monitor your liver enzymes.

I completely understand the anxiety of worrying if a relaxing evening glass of wine is silently harming your body. It can be really stressful to think about liver damage. Taking a break and getting a simple liver panel test will give you the clear answers you need to feel calm.
