Can wet hair cause dandruff?

My mom always tells me not to sleep with wet hair, saying it will give me dandruff. I usually let my hair air dry before bed. Is it true that wet hair can actually cause dandruff?

Yes, leaving your hair wet creates a breeding ground for the yeast that causes dandruff, especially if your immunity is a bit low. Keep your scalp dry and make sure you are eating a low-sugar diet to control fungal issues.

Keeping your scalp wet for too long creates a damp environment which can trigger fungal growth and dandruff. Keep your lifestyle clean, manage your stress, and dry your hair properly.

Yes it can, because dampness breeds fungus. Try drying your scalp thoroughly after every wash.

Dekho, wet hair doesn't directly create dandruff, but keeping your scalp damp for hours makes it easy for fungus to grow. Don't go to sleep with wet hair, simple as that.

If you sleep with wet hair, you are basically hosting a pool party for the fungus on your head! Just blow dry it on a cool setting and save yourself from the snowy shoulders.

Bilkul, gile baal se scalp pe fungus ho jata hai. Aap baal dhone ke baad thoda sa neem ka paani ya dahi lagayein, aur baal hamesha achhe se sukhayein.
