Can weight loss cause period changes?

I've been working hard on my fitness and have lost around 12 kgs. My periods used to be very regular, but now the cycle length has changed, and the flow is different. Could weight loss be causing these period changes?

Yes, absolutely. Any major shift in your weight or diet directly impacts your menstrual cycle.

Actually, yes! When you lose weight too fast, your body gets stressed and the hormones get completely messed up, yaar. It can make your period late or very light.

If you cut out fats completely from your food, your body cannot produce hormones properly. Make sure you are eating enough nuts, seeds, and healthy oils even while trying to lose weight.

Haan, bilkul ho sakta hai na! Sudden weight loss se body crash mode mein chali jaati hai. Don't worry too much, just eat healthy and don't do extreme dieting.

Yes, it is very common! My cycle got totally delayed when I joined the gym and lost 4 kgs quickly. Just keep track of it and eat well! 😊
